Some hadeeth which make the heart tender!

We've been studying such beautiful ahaadeeth these days, they literally make your heart tender, just thinking how much ALLAH تعالى loves us, and how merciful he is, سبحان الله ! Here are a few:

Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet said, "I know the person who will be the last to come out of the (Hell) Fire, and the last to enter Paradise. He will be a man who will come out of the (Hell) Fire crawling, and Allah will say to him, 'Go and enter Paradise.' He will go to it, but he will imagine that it had been filled, and then he will return and say, 'O Lord, I have found it full.' Allah will say, 'Go and enter Paradise, and you will have what equals the world and ten times as much (or, you will have as much as ten times the like of the world).' On that, the man will say, 'Do you mock at me (or laugh at me) though You are the King?" I saw Allah's Apostle (while saying that) smiling that his premolar teeth became visible. It is said that will be the lowest in degree amongst the people of Paradise.  (Saheeh Bukhari 575)

Narrated Abu Huraira: Some people said, "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?" He said, "Do you crowd and squeeze each other on looking at the sun when it is not hidden by clouds?" They replied, "No, Allah's Apostle." He said, "Do you crowd and squeeze each other on looking at the moon when it is full and not hidden by clouds?" They replied, No, O Allah's Apostle!" He said, "So you will see Him (your Lord) on the Day of Resurrection similarly Allah will gather all the people and say, 'Whoever used to worship anything should follow that thing. 'So, he who used to worship the sun, will follow it, and he who used to worship the moon will follow it, and he who used to worship false deities will follow them; and then only this nation (i.e., Muslims) will remain, including their hypocrites. Allah will come to them in a shape other than they know and will say, 'I am your Lord.' They will say, 'We seek refuge with Allah from you. This is our place; (we will not follow you) till our Lord comes to us, and when our Lord comes to us, we will recognize Him. Then Allah will come to then in a shape they know and will say, "I am your Lord.' They will say, '(No doubt) You are our Lord,' and they will follow Him. Then a bridge will be laid over the (Hell) Fire." Allah's Apostle added, "I will be the first to cross it. And the invocation of the Apostles on that Day, will be 'Allahukka Sallim, Sallim (O Allah, save us, save us!),' and over that bridge there will be hooks Similar to the thorns of As Sa'dan (a thorny tree). Didn't you see the thorns of As-Sa'dan?" The companions said, "Yes, O Allah's Apostle." He added, "So the hooks over that bridge will be like the thorns of As-Sa-dan except that their greatness in size is only known to Allah. These hooks will snatch the people according to their deeds. Some people will be ruined because of their evil deeds, and some will be cut into pieces and fall down in Hell, but will be saved afterwards, when Allah has finished the judgments among His slaves, and intends to take out of the Fire whoever He wishes to take out from among those who used to testify that none had the right to be worshipped but Allah. We will order the angels to take them out and the angels will know them by the mark of the traces of prostration (on their foreheads) for Allah banned the f ire to consume the traces of prostration on the body of Adam's son. So they will take them out, and by then they would have burnt (as coal), and then water, called Maul Hayat (water of life) will be poured on them, and they will spring out like a seed springs out on the bank of a rainwater stream, and there will remain one man who will be facing the (Hell) Fire and will say, 'O Lord! It's (Hell's) vapor has Poisoned and smoked me and its flame has burnt me; please turn my face away from the Fire.' He will keep on invoking Allah till Allah says, 'Perhaps, if I give you what you want), you will ask for another thing?' The man will say, 'No, by Your Power, I will not ask You for anything else.' Then Allah will turn his face away from the Fire. The man will say after that, 'O Lord, bring me near the gate of Paradise.' Allah will say (to him), 'Didn't you promise not to ask for anything else? Woe to you, O son of Adam ! How treacherous you are!' The man will keep on invoking Allah till Allah will say, 'But if I give you that, you may ask me for something else.' The man will say, 'No, by Your Power. I will not ask for anything else.' He will give Allah his covenant and promise not to ask for anything else after that. So Allah will bring him near to the gate of Paradise, and when he sees what is in it, he will remain silent as long as Allah will, and then he will say, 'O Lord! Let me enter Paradise.' Allah will say, 'Didn't you promise that you would not ask Me for anything other than that? Woe to you, O son of Adam ! How treacherous you are!' On that, the man will say, 'O Lord! Do not make me the most wretched of Your creation,' and will keep on invoking Allah till Allah will smile and when Allah will smile because of him, then He will allow him to enter Paradise, and when he will enter Paradise, he will be addressed, 'Wish from so-and-so.' He will wish till all his wishes will be fulfilled, then Allah will say, All this (i.e. what you have wished for) and as much again therewith are for you.' " Abu Huraira added: That man will be the last of the people of Paradise to enter (Paradise). Narrated 'Ata (while Abu Huraira was narrating): Abu Said was sitting in the company of Abu Huraira and he did not deny anything of his narration till he reached his saying: "All this and as much again therewith are for you." Then Abu Sa'id said, "I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'This is for you and ten times as much.' " Abu Huraira said, "In my memory it is 'as much again therewith.' "
(Saheeh Bukhari 577)

What to do when praised up front

Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi t3ala wabarakatuhu,

Hope all is well with all of you, I recieved a wonderdul email from a friend, so thought I'd share it with you all:

What to do when some one praises you- Mufti Taqi Usmani

(reported from Imam Auza’i  in Shu’ab al -iman of Imam Baihaqi)
Imam Baihaqi reported in Shu'ab al-Iman from Imam Auza’i (R.A) “When some one praises a person infront of him, he should say:

Allahumma anta a’alamu bee minnafsee wa ana a’alamu binafsee minan naas Allaahumma laa tu'aakhidhnee bimaa yaqooloona, waghfir lee maa laa ya'lamoona”

" Oh Allah! You know me better than myself and I know about myself  better than what the people know about me.  Oh Allah do not call me to account for what they say & forgive me for what they have no knowledge of (i.e. my faults and defects)."

The praise of people is not less than a fitnah for those who serve the deen by speech or writing. So, praising in front of the person is prohibited as it gives rise to the disease of vanity. Imam Auza’i has prescribed this du’a to cure it.
Shaykh Dr. Abdul Hai Arifi (R.A)'s advise:

Shaykh Dr. Abdul Hai Arifi (R.A) used to say that if someone praises you, then say in your heart, “Oh Allah! All thanks be to you that you have shown only my virtues to this person, for, if you were to expose my weaknesses and defects, he would hate me.”

He would also say, “ Desire for fame and praise cannot be satisfied by one’s own effort but it is up to others to fulfill it. Even if it is fulfilled, it is very short lived. Man should think, “what is the benefit achieved from this praise”?

Sins..Desires..Self Control.......When oh when will I change??

There are times, when you keep struggling, you want to change, you want to avoid the sins, and fight the desires, but shaytaan keeps taking over, even your own self leads you to the wrong path while your heart continuously warns and scolds you, you know your sinning, you know ALLAH t3ala is watching, but your so weak, you cant stop yourself, but remember the chances may be coming, but there shall be a last, and without knowing you may take your last step, and as you watch your soul being taken away, you shall regret every breath you wasted, so stop now, repent and change your ways....

(This inspired me to write a little something)

Trying so hard to change
but the desires keep coming
You know what your doing is wrong
your heart keeps scolding you
at times you stop and start to cry
and beg ALLAH t3ala for forgiveness
but others shaytaan has total control
you keep on going, thinking you'll be forgiven
you give in even though your feeling so guilty
its alright if you at times fail and repent
but remember that death can approach you whenever
this could be your last chance,
throw it or keep it, you shall face the consequences
Life is hard, desires are strong,
your own self can be your biggest enemy
but follow your conscience and try to fight
there will be a day when you shall take over
no good is earned without hard work
and every pain and struggle shall be rewarded
keep turning to ALLAH, ask him to guide you
if you fail, follow with repentance
Dont let shaytaan enjoy your failure
the road is bumpy, the path is tricky
but the destiny is a sweet one you wont regret
Make the intention, take the first step
if not now, then never
there is no tomorrow, today is the time
ask for forgiveness, and change your ways
The struggle is bitter but the after taste is sweet
To Jannah make your way
once you reach there you shall forget
every sorrow you ever reaped
keep reminding yourself of the hereafter
one day, one day, you will succeed

(I know it doesnt rhyme at all, had no plan of making a poem, was just noting my thoughts...so came out into this mixed up poem looking kinda thingy..)

Munafiqeen!

I read some really interesting stuff today so thought I'd share it with you all inshaALLAH t3ala!

Here goes:

You know how when we read about the munaafiqeen in the Quran Karim, the first thing that goes through our mind is, we arent from them, so this isnt about us. Alhamdulillah t3ala We're 100% muslims, welll....We were studying the tafseer of these ayahs:

إِنَّ الْمُنَـفِقِينَ يُخَـدِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ
4:142 Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but it is He Who deceives them.
And when they stand up for Salah, they stand with laziness and to be seen of men, and they do not remember Allah but little.
4:143 (They are) swaying between this and that, belonging neither to these nor to those; and he whom Allah sends astray, you will not find for him a way.

and here's what it said in their commentary:

Allah states,
Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but it is He Who deceives them.
There is no doubt that Allah can never be deceived, for He has perfect knowledge of the secrets and what the hearts conceal. However, the hypocrites, due to their ignorance, scarce knowledge and weak minds, think that since they were successful in deceiving people, using Islamic Law as a cover of safety for themselves, they will acquire the same status with Allah on the Day of Resurrection and deceive Him too.
Allah states that on that Day, the hypocrites will swear to Him that they were on the path of righteousness and correctness thinking that such statement will benefit them with Allah.
For instance, Allah said,
On the Day when Allah will resurrect them all together; then they will swear to Him as they swear to you. (58:18)
Allah's statement, وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ  (but it is He Who deceives them) means,
He lures them further into injustice and misguidance. He also prevents them from reaching the truth in this life and on the Day of Resurrection.
Allah said,
On the Day when the hypocrites ـ men and women ـ will say to the believers: "Wait for us! Let us get something from your light!'' It will be said: "Go back to your rear! Then seek a light!'' untilوَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ  (And worst indeed is that destination). (57:13-15)
Hadith states;
Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him.
Allah's statement,
And when they stand up for Salah, they stand with laziness.
This is the characteristic of the hypocrites with the most honored, best and righteous act of worship, the prayer. When they stand for prayer, they stand in laziness because they neither truly intend to perform it nor do they believe in it, have humility in it, or understand it. This is the description of their outward attitude!
As for their hearts, Allah said,
to be seen of men,
meaning, they do not have sincerity when worshipping Allah. Rather, they show off to people so that they gain closeness to them. They are often absent from the prayers that they can hide away from, such as the Isha prayer and the Dawn prayer that are prayed in darkness.
In the Two Sahihs, it is recorded that the Messenger of Allah said,
The heaviest prayers on the hypocrites are the Isha and Dawn prayers. If they know their rewards, they will attend them even if they have to crawl.
I was about to order someone to pronounce the Adhan for the prayer, then order someone to lead the prayer for the people, then order some men to collect fire-wood (fuel); then I would burn the houses around men who did not attend the (compulsory congregational) prayer.
In another narration, the Prophet said,
By Him, in Whose Hand my soul is, if anyone of them had known that he would get a bone covered with good meat or two (small) pieces of meat between two ribs, he would have turned up for the prayer, and had it not been that the houses have women and children in them, I would burn their homes around them.
Allah's statement,
And they do not remember Allah but little.
means, during the prayer they do not feel humbleness or pay attention to what they are reciting. Rather, during their prayer, they are inattentive, jesting and avoid the good that they are meant to receive from prayer.
Imam Malik reported that Al-Ala' bin Abdur-Rahman said that Anas bin Malik said that the Messenger of Allah said,
This is the prayer of the hypocrite, this is the prayer of the hypocrite, this is the prayer of the hypocrite.
He sits watching the sun until when it goes down between the two horns of the devil, he stands up pecks out four Rak`ahs (forAsr) without remembering Allah during them except little.
Muslim, At-Tirmidhi and An-Nasa'i also recorded it.
At-Tirmidhi said "Hasan Sahih''.
Allah's statement,
(They are) swaying between this and that, belonging neither to these,
means that the hypocrites are swaying between faith and disbelief. So they are neither with believers inwardly or outwardly nor with disbelievers inwardly or outwardly. Rather, they are with the believers outwardly and with the disbelievers inwardly. Some of them would suffer fits of doubt, leaning towards these sometimes and towards those sometimes.
Whenever it flashes for them, they walk therein, and when darkness covers them, they stand still. (2:20)
Mujahid said; مُّذَبْذَبِينَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ لاَ إِلَى هَـؤُلاء ((They are) swaying between this and that, belonging neither to these),
"The Companions of Muhammad,
nor to those:
the Jews.''
Ibn Jarir recorded that Ibn Umar said that the Prophet said,
The example of the hypocrite is the example of the sheep wandering between two herds, sometimes she goes to one of them, and sometimes the other, confused over whom she should follow.
Muslim also recorded it.
This is why Allah said afterwards,
and he whom Allah sends astray, you will not find for him a way.
meaning, whomever He leads astray from the guidance, (For him you will find no Wali (guiding friend) to lead him (to the right path)) (18:17) because, (Whomsoever Allah sends astray, none can guide him). (7:186)
So the hypocrites whom Allah has led astray from the paths of safety will never find a guide to direct them, nor someone to save them. There is none who can resist Allah's decision, and He is not asked about what He does, while they all will be asked.

Which made me think: What's the difference between us so called muslims, and the munafiqeen?? Sadly, Our prayers are just like ALLAH تعالى has described here...In the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallams time, there was a huge difference between the muslims and the munafiqeens, but in todays time, there is no difference! Our every prayer is delayed, we hardly ever know what we recite in our prayers, never have we actually got up to pray with excitement....May ALLAH t3ala forgive us and make us true muslims with his mercy, bil 3afiyah, aameen thumma aameen.

Life is difficult, but it will pass...

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi t3ala wabarakatuhu,

Jazakumullah t3ala ahsanal jaza to the pass sisters who commented, Ive decided not to close the blog...please keep me in your prayers though...

Now to the post:

For those of you who are going through a difficult time in their life, and don't really know what to do,
those who have been oppressed, and now find the oppressors having a great happy life and your having just the opposite,

those of you who literally stayed awake nights trying to cheer up your friends, or making dua for them, and now that you need someone to talk to, she has better things to do...

Its funny how sudden relations come in someones life, and suddenly tear you away from your long time friend...

I dont get it when people know your so hurt about something, and ALLAH t3ala has blessed them in the same thing, and they happily talk about it right in front of you..

(I mean ofcourse I want you to be happy, and Im thankful your not going through what I am, but Im trying to avoid thinking about it, and its kinda difficult, when your always talking about your happy life..right in front of me...well not exactly me, Ive seen people who are being tested in a certain thing, and people happily talking about their happiness right in front of them...then Im sitting there thinking, poor her, she must be feeling so awful inside, even though shes laughing outside...)

For those of you, who are tired of people, and tired of having to act fake, and laugh even when your hearts crying, tired of friends acting like nothings wrong when you need some comfort, but are too shy to say it,

just remember
in all times of difficulty, you may not see someone around you,
but do know ALLAH t3ala is always with you.

There are only 1 pair of foot prints in the sand, not because he too left you, but because he picked you up in his arms, and those are his not yours..

InshaALLAH t3ala very soon, a time will come, when you will forget every pain your feeling right now..
Keep your trust in him, learn from your tests, that we came to this world alone, we shall die alone, lay in our grave alone, and resurrect alone...this world is not to make friends, but to gain deeds for the hereafter.

We dont need anyone, we need ALLAH t3ala

Whatever ALLAH t3ala has written for us, we shall always praise him, never complain

As long as he is happy with us, we are happy...

May ALLAH t3ala solve everyones worries, and grant you all eternal happiness in this world and the hereafter.

One who has no sadness, can never know the real value of happiness...

Everyone wants happiness
Nobody wants pain
But you cant have a rainbow
without a little rain....
